Paul Gilroy

Paul is the mastermind behind That's Entertainment? He is responsible for arranging and recording all the music, as well as setting up the lights and sound for each and every performance. He keeps track of all the costumes and props, and wields his clipboard with authority as he tries to whip this undisciplined little group of performers into shape.

Paul, a tenor, is married to Debi, and they have been performing in That's Entertainment? since it's inception in 1986.

And yes: Paul HAS competed with a New England Tech graduate and lived to tell about it.

Debi Gilroy

Debi helps Paul to keep That's Entertainment? organized and running. She helps choose the musical selections, designs and sews costumes, arranges numbers and even attempts to bring an occasional choreographic move or two to fruition despite the lack of coordination among TE's cast.

Debi is an avid biscuit grabber, so be warned and protect yourself when you walk in front of her. And no, age doesn't matter.

Debi, an alto/soprano, is not only an original member of the cabaret troupe, but is now a self proclaimed karaoke addict.

Mike Marrocco

Mike, or "The Human Tripod" as he's known to his friends, is not only a talented piano and guitar player, but he's the natural comic who keeps our audiences laughing and coming back year after year.

Mike and his wife Elaine have been performing with That's Entertainment? since 1989. He also now performs with his new rock band: "Mojo Sapiens".  Mike went to the Beserkly School of Music and majored in Bad Theater with a minor in Loud Singing.

Mike is a baritone and credits his great legs for how gorgeous he looks in short skirts.

Elaine Marrocco

Elaine has been a key member of the cabaret troupe for 18yrs now. She started out singing in duets and group numbers but has progressed to solos as her stage presence and acting abilities have grown to make her a headliner! Elaine is best known for performing all kinds of demeaning and humiliating roles in the name of "being a professional".

Elaine has on occasion, been confused with her husband Mike when he's in drag. So please be aware: it's Elaine LEFT and Mike ABOVE.

Elaine is an alto and also loves to sing karaoke till the cows come home.

Geri Cataldo

Geri has been singing most of her life. Starting out of high school, she sang with various local bands throughout the 80's, and also bands that traveled up and down the east coast. She stopped singing professionally when she wed Harvey (the bastard) in 1988 and changed careers to become a full time mother.

In addition to having a great voice, Geri has another amazing talent, where she can flip someone off at will, with either hand and never miss a beat of music. So you're wise to stay on her good side.

Geri, a soprano, joined That's Entertainment? in 2001 and has worked her way up from scullery maid to diva in 5 short years.

Mark Lima

Mark is our link to legitimate theater. He has worked for various theater troupes over the past 20 years; mostly performing lead roles in musical plays of Broadway distinction. Mark is also an accomplished pianist who performs and teaches music. He formally pursued coaching and formal education for piano at the New England Conservatory of Music/Oscar Peterson School of Jazz, and voice with Adam Ferguuelli of the NYC Opera and dance with Jeremy Andersen of Carnegie Hall, NY.

What he's doing hanging around with this group, no one has yet to figure out. But we're better off for it and whatever illusion he's laboring under, we don't want to shatter it. So, mums the word okay?

Joyce Beauchesne

Joyce is our opera singer. Whenever we need a piercing "high C" with a potential glass shatter, we call on Joyce. She started her singing career in church up in the choir loft, but eventually went looking for something a little more risque. Luckily, she found us! Also a natural comedienne, Joyce keeps our audiences howling with her outrageous characterizations and facial expressions.

Personality quirks include repeatedly opening and closing medicine cabinets in the homes of strangers and friends alike. Possessing no sense of balance, she cannot dance and often requires training wheels for even the simplest of household tasks... including ironing. Having an almost photographic memory, she boastfully claims to have retained all 5 names of the Great Lakes and can name 4 of the 7 continents. Sometimes, she even remembers her lyrics.

Danny Picini
Once the rhythmically-challenged drummer for "That's Entertainment? - The Live Music Years", Elaine's baby brother Danny returns to his roots up on the stage joining the cast in August of '05.
Boston born and bred, Danny returns to the right coast after a five year stint wearing out his welcome performing the San Francisco karaoke bar circuit.
Despite countless compliments over his first handful of shows, Danny has been confused as to how to interpret one critic's review that describes him as "the over-thinking man's Curious George."

Despite being on leave from the show, we still call Danny part of our group.
Danny is also our resident caricature artist and is responsible for all the great caricatures you see on your programs and the website.

Our Tech guys:

Chase Gilroy

Paul & Debi's youngest son has just joined the team as our new tech boy. Someday he may grow up to be a tech "guy"

Dane Gilroy

Dane is Paul & Debi's son and has been helping out with the sound and lights since he was in the 6th grade. He is now our part-time tech guy since he has more important things to do than hang out with old people all the time.

Beau" Beauchesne

Beau is married to Joyce and has been our company tech guy for 2 years now. A stickler for detail, Beau has been known to show up as early as 15 minutes before a show to prepare for our performance.

Known for his problem solving skills and quick-thinking, famous Beau quotes include:

  • "I don't know what the hell this thing is doing!",
  • "I don't care what the audience says, I can hear you just fine!" and the famous
  • "It's not my fault, it's that big woman in the front row with her chair on the wires."
  •  "That's not funny"

Then there's Paul Altieri: our resident critic. Paul shows up to all our rehearsals to add his subjective reviews. We couldn't present such top-notch shows without him.
